Beautiful view on the ocean/beach. Very clean overall, pretty well maintained. Hotel definitely has a vibe, albeit not really my thing... Fast room service for breakfast (though poor quality)
The hotel is a prime example of a white elephant. I giant concrete, endless building with a huge parking lot right on the wild beach. Very bizarre atmosphere off season, feels likes a Las Vegas casino after the apocalypse. An empty minibar and a weird room service system was not very hospitable... I understand being environmentally firendly, but then better not to have disposable toiletries with Palm Oil rather than not having cold drinks and a pack of chips. Lame excuse. Pillows were terrible and generally felt like room was way overpriced for what it is. Generally I felt my stay was unremarkable and was happy to leave.

What was the highlight of The Historic Huis ter Duin
Great stay, would come back. Its such a nice place next to one the best beaches of the Netherlands.
The atmosphere of the hotel is vintage but with modern rooms and facilities. We also liked the room a lot, very comfortable and new. We also liked the breakfast, a lot of options with eggs, fruit, and other things.
Sometimes an extra step would have made it perfect. Some examples, the kiosk underneath the beach club was closed, the beachclub itself had no towels. We had to walk to the hotel. An empty minibar in a premium room, a 7,5 euro delivery fee for room service. Its all minor stuff, but still.
